Challenging soil and bearing conditions require advanced knowledge and experience to build complex foundations. Our crews are experts in concrete foundations and excel in MAT foundations, pile caps, grade beams and standard foundations

Cast-in Place Structures

We specialize in all types of cast-in-place concrete structures. These vary from columns, beams and walls to complex raker beams for stadium seating.

Concrete Slabs

We are experts at planning and our crews can perform almost any type of slab. We self-perform slab on grade, slab on deck, shared or elevated slabs as well as topping slabs. We work diligently to prevent project delays, and when possible, even improve project schedules.

Specialty Structures
We collaborate with clients and designers to cast very complex concrete structures and finishes. Board form finishes on walls, patterns or geometric shapes can be implemented into many architectural designs and enhance your project.

Piedmont Concrete Contractors has worked on many large-scale projects ranging from institutional projects, medical office buildings, parking structures, to a number of large speciality buildings. Our projects span across Virginia and we have worked with many of the top general contractors in the region. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work, no matter the challenges that come our way. 

PROJECT GALLERY
UVA Gaston & Ramazani Houses
Piedmont Concrete Contractors and Piedmont Waterproofing Contractors were both subcontracted to perform work on Phase II of UVA's Upper Class Housing Projects on Brandon Ave. PCC performed all site concrete and form work including the footers, slab on grade, slab on deck, retaining walls, and more. Due to the tight site, Piedmont Waterproofing Contractors applied blindside waterproofing to the exterior walls, along with adding vapor barriers, sealants, and more to the rest of the two buildings.
Liberty University's Dining Hall
Piedmont Concrete Contractors was subcontracted to perform work on the 120,000 SF new dining hall. All of the site prep, footers, slab on deck, slab on grade, walls, and any other form work was included in the scope for PCC.
James Madison University Convocation Center
We helped create the foundation for JMU's new convocation center, the Atlantic Union Bank Center. Our team poured 11,000 cubic yards of concrete including 267,585 SF of slab for this state of the art facility.
UVA Data Science Center
Piedmont Concrete Contractors was subcontracted to help complete the new building for the School of Data Sciences at UVA. Piedmont Concrete poured a large mat slab, along with the other form work for the site.
Liberty University's Football Stadium Expansion
Our crew worked to expand Liberty University's Williams Stadium to a 25,000 seating capacity. We poured over 4,500 cubic yards of concrete on this large institutional project.

Our Work


UVA Gaston & Ramazani Houses

Greenleaf Mixed Use Building
Lee Building was selected to construction a new 3-story multiuse building. The 30,000 square foot building includes a parking structure, commercial units on the first level, commercial and residential on the second level, and residential with mountain-view balconies on the third level. LEE performed the construction of the shell of the building, the parking garage, all of the upfitting for the residential apartments, and layout for the upfitting of the commercial space.

Liberty University's Dining Hall
Piedmont Concrete Contractors and Piedmont Plaster & Drywall were both subcontracted to perform work on the 120,000 SF new dining hall. All of the site prep, footers, slab on deck, slab on grade, walls, and any other form work was included in the scope for PCC. All of the metal framing, sheathing, drywall, insulation, acoustic ceiling installing, and cornice work was included in PPD's scope of work.

Custom Pool House
Lee Town & Country Homes constructed a custom pool house for a repeat client in Albemarle County. The project included a custom stone exterior to match the current patio, vaulted ceilings with exposed custom wood beams, and stone fireplace.

UVA Data Science Center
Piedmont Concrete Contractors and Piedmont Plaster & Drywall were both subcontracted to help complete the new building for the School of Data Sciences at UVA. Piedmont Concrete poured a large mat slab, along with the other form work for the site. Piedmont Plaster & Drywall's scope of work included the metal framing, insulation, drywall hanging/finishing, and acoustic ceilings for the building.

Bonumose Research & Development Facility
Lee Building Company partnered with the company Bonumose to construct a new state-of-the-art research & development facility for their groundbreaking method of producing Tagatose. The 36,000 Square Foot facility now houses their production facility, research & laboratory area, and their office space.
